Guiding Hand HR was created from my belief that strong organizations are built through clear guidance, fair processes, and leaders who care about people as much as performance.

My journey began in the United States Army, where I learned the value of structure, accountability, discipline, and people-centered leadership. Over nearly twelve years of service, I worked across operations, compliance, training, personnel readiness, and human resources, culminating as a Human Resource Officer providing support to over 500 people.

After my military service, I continued my HR journey in long-term care, where the work became even more personal. In this environment, HR is not just about policies, hiring, or documentation. It directly supports the employees who care for residents, families, and some of the most vulnerable members of the community. That experience strengthened my understanding of employee relations, compliance, staffing, recruitment, retention, and the importance of steady leadership in a people-centered organization.

I created Guiding Hand HR to bring that same disciplined, practical, and service-focused approach to small businesses and nonprofits that need trusted HR guidance without the cost of a large firm.

My vision is to remain a solo HR consulting company so I can keep overhead costs low and provide clients with competitive, affordable pricing. This allows me to offer personal, dependable, and professional HR support with direct attention to each client’s needs.
